Bill -

Bill always knew he was going to be a photographer. His passion for photography was inherited from his father. He used to take pictures with his father’s camera and, by experimenting, learned to figure exposures by himself. His first formal studies in the photography field were at Skyline High School in Dallas. Skyline offers concentrated studies and Bill was able to take 3 hours of photography a day. There, he learned lighting, color slide and film processing and printing, medium and large format cameras among other skills. He won many awards and honors for his photo skills.

With a strong portfolio from Skyline, he was accepted into the photo department at Sam Houston State University and was able to enter directly into junior level photo classes. Bill continued to be very active in the photography community, was part of the photo society and also won many photo competitions. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Photography in 1987 he was offered a full time job after three summers of working for APL. He set-up and managed several of their studios and traveled nationally and internationally providing training and support for studios across North America and other parts of the world. After 20 years of service to the company, Bill became Vice-President of Operations. He had reached the top of the ladder and decided to move on further.

He wanted to see what other opportunities life held for him. Just a few weeks after his last day, opportunity came knocking on his door. Long time friend and colleague, Doug Schirripa, offered him a position to continue to do what he loves. Bill is now part of the imageTech Team and, with his experience of over 20 years, he brings the insight and requirements of a true photographer. Bill’s expertise allows our company to always be there for you, support you and give you the technology and services that are essential for you to be successful.
